Question:
I have a 2001 Keystone Cougar. The original unit had a shower tub. First I wanted to know if I can replace the tub with a shower pan instead? I know the old tub was a right hand drain drain is to the right when facing the tub. I am concerned with replacing with another tub as the original one developed cracks/holes in the back, farthest away from the drain, right where the tub bends/curves upward. When I pulled the old tub out I noticed that there was nothing but a very thin piece of styrofoam on the bottom part of the tub only. Im afraid by replacing with another tub it would still have that weak spot in the bends because theres nothing there supporting it?

On your 2001 Keystone Cougar, the original tub doesn't dictate the same issues for an aftermarket option. We have the Better Bath 24" x 40" RV Bath Tub - Right Drain - White # LC209678 or # LC209392 in Parchment. We also have the Better Bath 36" Long x 24" Wide RV Bath Tub - Right Drain - White # LC209658 or # LC209376 in Parchment as replacement options for right side drain.
The only right side drain shower pan we have is the Better Bath 32" x 32" Neo Angle RV Shower Pan - Right Drain - 5" Rise - White # LC209744. The shower pans have different shapes, but can be used to replace your current tub with a little reworking of the space. The shower pans do not simply follow the shape of a tub to allow an easy swap.
