Question:
What is the trailer tires length if the total diameter is 27.106? What is the formula to find a trailer tires length if stretched out?

Expert Reply:
To determine the length of a tire, if stretched out, you will just need to calculate its circumference. This is calculated by the formula 2(pi)r, where r equals the radius. Since the radius is half of the diameter, the correct formula for your particular tire with a 27.106 inch diameter will be 2(pi)13.553.
This gives us a circumference or length when stretch out, of 85.16 inches.
