For a magnetic engine oil heater that will work well with the 6.0L V8 engine in your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, I recommend using the Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnum Magnetic Heater part # KH1190. The Kat's Handi-Heat has a magnetic base which can be attached to several different vehicle components such as an engine block, oil pan, intake manifold, transmission pan, or battery hold down.
