just installed a drawtite hitch and it is making contact with my number in 2 spots. What is wrong here? 2013 Subaru Crosstrek

Thank you for your purchase of Draw-Tite hitch # 76084 for your 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek for which it is a confirmed fit.
If a hitch contacts the car's exhaust this can be corrected easily enough by slightly shifting the position of the exhaust hangers. This process is outlined in the linked article.
