For a 2 wheel drive 2000 Toyota 4Runner the Timbren you mentioned is not a fit but the SumoSprings kit part # CSS-1145R is which is pretty similar in function. For all intents and purposes this would function the same as the Timbren. Basically at a certain point as the vehicle suspension compresses the SumoSpring (just like the Timbren) provides additional support.
