The Carr Custom-Fit Side Steps # CARR104501 referenced in your question, which are confirmed to fit your 2017 Toyota Tundra, will require some drilling during installation. To attach the steps to the truck, you will need to drill holes into the back side of the rocker panel under the driver and passenger side door.
These are very nice, sturdy steps that feature a flat, non-slip surface to provide sure footing. They have a durable, cast aluminum alloy construction that will do a great job of preventing rust and corrosion. The step platforms measure 7 inches long and 3-1/2 inches wide.
I have attached the complete written installation instructions that you can also check out.
