Troubleshooting PL Error Code on Prodigy P2 Electric Brake Controller

Question:
Followed the instructions on how to install. When conected to trailer. Nothing shows that it is even connected. And when horse trailer lights are applied. It shows P.L Cant get it to read n.c. or 6.0. So what wrong. Help

The PL code on a Prodigy P2 # 90885 means the controller is losing power on the black wire when you press the brake pedal or use the manual override. It's likely caused by a loose connection with the black wire so that's the first thing to check.
It's also possible you have a bad circuit breaker that the black wire is connected to the battery through.
