Tire Chains for a 2007 Land Rover Range Rover with 255/50-20 or 255/55-19 Tires

Published 11/02/2017

Question:

Dear eTrailer.com, I own a 2007 Range Rover Supercharged with 20inch wheels. The owners manual states that to use tire chains on this model one must change from a 20inch to a 19inch wheel. Due to clearance issues I assume. Do you have any knowledge of Part # TC2324 working on this model with 20inch wheels? I really do not want to find another set of wheels and tires for a local mountain trip I am planning.

According to the owner's manual for your 2007 Land Rover Range Rover tire chains can only be used on 18" and 19" wheels. In addition to wheel size, tire chains are only permitted for use on the rear two wheels.

As long as you have the standard 255/50-20 tires on your Range Rover then the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC2324 will fit but I cannot recommend you use them as your owners manual states not to. However, should you find a set of 19" wheels with the 255/55-19 tires then you can use the same tire chains listed above.

I have attached an installation video of these chains installed on a similar type of vehicle for you as well.
