There are a couple of things to consider. First is the 1997 Honda Civic going to be stored outside or in a garage? Second does the vehicle use a 100 percent anti-freeze solution or a 50/50 mix? The heater # KH16400 cannot be used with a 100 percent solution. If outside the wind could cool down the system as quick as the heater could warm it. The heater is rated at 400 watts.
If the vehicle is kept in a garage and is not using a 100 percent anti-freeze solution the heater will be able to maintain warm enough fluid.
