Cant get plugs off the taillights. Advice?

The connectors on the tail light wiring on your 2001 Dodge Durango likely have some sort of retention device that keeps them locked together. I have linked a video below and in it our installer shows the locking tabs and releases them using a flat blade screwdriver.
If you have done that and they still won't release then it is just going to take some force while wiggling the connector. Pull and wiggle, at the same time, pull and wiggle, and you will eventually work them free.
