Question:

Your "Let's Go Aero 2 Bike Mount Kit" shows 2 fork mounts attached to a cross bar support. The thru axle mounts "RockyMounts DriveShaft HM Truck Bed Bike Carrier - Thru-Axle Mount - Bolt On Item # RKY1084" that is shown on your site does not show any type of cross bar support for the mounts. So, my questions was are these through axle mounts that are listed on your site stand alone or do they need additional cross bar type supports to mount to the GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier similar to the Let's Go Aero Kit?

We have both thru-axle and fork mount bike carriers. If you are looking for a thru-axle mount bike carrier then I recommend using the RockyMounts DriveShaft HM Truck Bed Bike Carrier part # RKY1084. This bike carrier works with both 15mm and 20mm bike axles. If you have a 12mm bike axle then you will also need to use the 12-mm Shims for RockyMounts DriveShaft part # RKY1078. This carrier has a built-in lock to deter theft and comes with two keys.

The rails you are referring to on the Let's Go Aero 2 Bike Mount Kit part # HCK932 are not designed to provide additional support for carrying your bikes. The rails are used for maneuverability and easy installation. They are universal and accept a wide variety of fork and axle mounted bike carriers like the RockyMounts DriveShaft HM Truck Bed Bike Carrier part # RKY1084. However, the rails are not required for installation and the RockyMounts DriveShaft HM Truck Bed Bike Carrier can simply be bolted to the floor of your GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier part # HGK826 without the additional rails.
