Expert Reply:
As long as your 2000 Dodge Dakota is 4WD then yes the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSF-204-47 will work well to reduce front end sag while using a snow plow. If you are looking for a snow plow setup, I recommend using the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 31080 with the Detail K2 Avalanche Snowplow part # K2AVAL8219. The Detail K2 Avalanche has an 82" wide blade, electric winch with in-cab controller, and flip down caster wheels to move the plow while not attached to the vehicle.
For future reference, the chassis on a 1997-2004 Dodge Dakota 2WD is identical to the one on the 1998-2003 Dodge Durango 2WD and vice versa for the 4WD models. Unfortunately, we do not have any front suspension enhancements for the 2WD models at this time.
