Recommended Bike Rack and Trailer Hitch Receiver 2012 Chrysler 200 Convertible

We have two trailer hitch receivers for your 2012 Chrysler 200 Convertible, the Draw-Tite Class I Sport Frame Receiver Hitch part # 24871 and the Curt Class I Receiver Hitch part # C11133. Both of these hitches are a Class 1 hitch receiver with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. I recommend the Draw-Tite hitch as your best option due to its sleek appearance after installed.

As long as your current bike rack has a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening and is compatible with a Class 1 hitch receiver, then the bike rack will work for you. If you have a 2" shank on your bike rack you can use the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" part # HTAD. When using the hitch adapter, your tongue weight will be reduced by 50% therefore, your current bike rack and two bikes will need to weigh under 100 lbs in order for the hitch adapter to work for you.

If you do not have a Class 1 bike rack, I recommend using the Swagman XTC-2 2-Bike Platform Rack part # S64670 as this is a Class 1 bike rack with a 1-1/4" shank. This bike rack has a threaded bolt pin and clip with anti-rattle to secure the rack into the trailer hitch.
