Question:
I ordered a wiring and diod kit number 38955 for my Avalanche. Yall sent me a 48955 diod kit and a wiring harness that has two brown wires going in the same plug and a yellow and green wire. I assumed that the two brown wires were for the running lights and the yellow and green wires go the left side and right side blinker and and stop lights. Is that correct.

You are correct in everything you mentioned. The part # 48955 is just the diodes of the part # 38955.
The two brown wires are running lights to either side, yellow is left turn/stop, and green is right turn stop. White is ground.
