Question:
Im looking for the best option for my 2 bikes using a hitch and tilting bike rack. My 2017 mazda 3 hatchback doesnt have a spoiler but does have a sunroof so Id like to stay away from a roof or trunk rack. Thanks so much.

First, for your 2017 Mazda 3 hatchback, you will need a trailer hitch. I recommend Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24914 because it does not have any special requirements like the Curt option does.
For a bike rack the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR, is a popular option. It holds the bikes at the wheels so it is compatible with many bike styles. The U-shaped rack frame makes loading and unloading the bikes easier. I have included a link to a video review of this rack for you.
If you prefer the hanging style bike racks the Saris Bones # SA882 is another popular option. It can tilt but was not designed to tilt with the bikes loaded so ideally the bikes would come off first prior to tilting the rack. This is the case for all of the Class I compatible hanging bike racks.
