Does Brake Controller Need to be Turned Down When Not in Use on Vehicle

Question:
I just purchased a 98 ford expedition with a draw-tite activator on it. I dont do any type of towing. so where should I position the slide button, so it wont cause me a braking problem ? tthanks

Your Draw Tite Activator # 5504 settings can be left in any configuration and it will work fine on your vehicle. The controller does not interact with your vehicle's braking system in any way so it does not need to be turned off or adjusted down.
