Question:
Is there a hitch with a 2 inch receiver available for a 2013 Ford C-Max?
asked by: Paula
Expert Reply:
There is not a Class III 2 Inch trailer hitch receiver we carry that is compatible with a 2013 Ford C-Max. This is because the towing capacity of the vehicle is so limited that a Class III hitch is not wise for a manufacturer to make. According to your owners manual, this vehicle is not equipped for towing a trailer.
I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # C12092 which will allow you to use the hitch for smaller accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier. It is commended to use a stabilization strap # 18050 with this hitch.
Let me know if you are interested in a recommendation for a bike rack or a cargo carrier for this trailer hitch receiver.
