2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 bottom of frame where C31069 would bolt up to appears to have an extra weldment that would not allow the hitch to mount. Does 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 crew cab with short box Texas Edition take a different part number?

I checked with Curt and they do list # C31069 as a fit for all models of the 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500. But they also show # C31012 as a fit. We also have Draw-Tite front hitch # 65064 as a fit for your truck. What I recommend is to look over the instructions for each, linked below, and compare them to the truck.
