Question:
I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 -4 wheel drive... Do I need anything else to go with the brake controller # 5100 to hook it up to my truck? The video mentioned a wiring adapter maybe??? My truck is wired already in the rear for the 7-way plug.... I just need to know if the #5504brake controller will plug right in to something, or do I need a wiring adapter to plug into the controller and then somewhere under the dash... Thanks, Ken

Since your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has a factory 7-way trailer connector then it will have a connector under the dashboard to install an electric brake controller, like the Draw-Tite Activator # 5504. Use # 3025-P to connect the Activator to the truck. It will just plug in for you.
I've linked a video of the install for you. It's a different brake controller but uses the same wiring adapter so the install is the same.
