Open Height of the Triple Lippert Tread Lite Step

I dont have much room under the van so i want to know what the open and closed height of the stairs.

When extended out the steps you mentioned # LC353543 will be a total of 32-7/8 inches tall from where they mount to the vehicle. You'd want at least 40 inches from the ground to where you would mount these otherwise they would be too tall to work ideally.
What is the distance you have from the ground to where you want to mount steps?
