Measuring for Travel Trailer Cover Compatible With A/C or Additional Units on Roof
Published 08/31/2017 >
Question:
The information for measuring for the Travel Trailer cover state to measure to the top edge for height. How does the cover account for the A/C unit and such, on mine that adds about another foot or so for the Height. Thank you

The dimensions of a cover like the Camco UltraGuard Class C/Travel Trailer Cover - 22' Long # CAM45740 account for additional space for an A/C unit, TV antenna, and other. Because RV's are very different based on user, they add this into the overall dimensions they give for the covers. You will see in the attached video that the cover has extra fabric so there isn't a tug on the corners and then uses straps to adjust for tension and hold. The extra foot of your trailer won't be an issue, but if you want more space you can move up to the next larger cover and just account for more fabric to fold. If your trailer length fits in two categories, then I'd recommend going with the larger one if you have any doubts.
