Starting with the trailer hitch for your 2017 Lexus RX-350, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e94AR. This Class III hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will provide a 2-inch receiver opening with a 4,000 pound towing capacity. Based on my research, it appears the vehicle's towing capacity is 3,500 pounds. You can verify this by checking your copy of the owner's manual. If this is the case, you will just need to stay below this limit even though the hitch itself is rated for more.

If your RX 350 happens to be the F Sport model, you will instead need the Stealth Hitch Class III # 391LXRX16T. I have attached an installation video on this hitch for you.

Then to install a 4-Way flat connector, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118252 which will work as long as your Lexus has the factory tow package. This is a custom-fit harness that will connect to existing plugs located under the vehicle on the driver's side rear.
