Best Brake Controller Recommendation for 2003 Chevy Silverado

Hi, Im looking into changing out my brake controller with this Tekonsha 90195 P3 Electronic Brake Control unit. Is this a good choice for pulling a 40foot 2 axle 5th wheel, or is there something better? What all should I order for the installation. Thanks,

The P3 part # 90195 is basically the nicest brake controller on the market and we recommend it highly.

This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes. This will be the last brake controller you buy. It can easily be transferred to future vehicles as well.

All you need to install it in your 2003 Chevy Silverado is the install harness part # 3015-P which is a custom fit for your truck.
