Question:

To transport your 15 foot canoe on your 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon, I recommend first installing a complete roof rack if you do not have one already.
If your Subaru has the factory raised side rails that run front to back, I recommend the Rhino Rack Vortex StealthBar Roof Rack # JA7975. These two 30-7/8 inch crossbars will mount directly to the side rails on your vehicle to provide an extremely quiet and low profile system.
Then for a canoe carrier, I highly recommend the Yakima KeelOver Rooftop Canoe Carrier # Y04069. These gunwale brackets will allow you to secure your canoe hull side up on the roof rack. It includes two heavy-duty tie-down straps with buckle covers and two bow and stern ropes to anchor the canoe to your Outback Wagon.
I strongly recommend checking the weight capacity of your vehicle's roof as listed in the owner's manual. You will just want to make sure it can safely support the weight of your 15 foot canoe. You can also take a quick measurement between the side rails of your vehicle to see if the width of your canoe will fit properly.
