The wiring for a brake controller is already ran under the dash of your 2007 Chevy Silverado. If you look under the dash, below the steering column, to the left and above the brake pedal, you will find a bundle of wires held together with a white tag. The tag should list the functions of the wires on it.
Connect the red wire from the truck to the black wire on the controller for 12 volt power. Connect the dark blue wire on the truck to the blue wire on the controller for brake output. Connect the light blue wire on the truck to the red wire on the controller for the stop light switch. Last, connect the white wire on the truck to the white wire on the brake controller for the ground. If the tag lists different functions then go by what it says.
I have included a link to an FAQ article for you to view that should help with installing the brake controller. I have also included a link to the instructions for the Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller, # 90885, that you have referenced.
