Tire Chain and Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2018 Subaru Forester
Published 08/10/2017 >
Question:
Do you recommend one set or two sets of chains for the AWD Subarus? Also, I would like to purchase a four-pin trailer wire harness for my 2018 Subaru Forester to go with the Curt trailer hitch, #13144, that I recently purchased from you. Thank you,

Having tire chains on all 4 wheels of an AWD vehicle will give you the best traction for braking, acceleration, and steering. It will be the best all around solution. As long as the owners manual of your 2018 Subaru Forester says it's okay to use chains on all of your wheels this would be the best route with the part # TH00023075 installed on your tire size P225/60/R17.
For trailer wiring you then would want the part # 118467 which is a confirmed fit.
