is this strap a full 3inch wide if so it may be too tight on my winch drum

If that is too wide, I recommend the BoatBuckle Boat Winch Strap with Hook and Safety Latch - Loop End - 2" x 25' - 8,000 lbs # IMF14211 or the Hand Winch Strap with Safety Hook, 2" Wide x 25' Long - 4,000 lbs. # DL24249.
