Question:
i have a 1999 Gold Wing 1500, is there a brake controller made for this specific motorcycle? have you had any request? what are other gold wing owners using?

Brake controllers for trailer brakes are not vehicle-specific but due to the necessary method of installing one on a motorcycle (in whatever available space you might have) means that a time-delay type will be better than a proportional controller. Time-delay type units like the Draw-Tite Activator IV # 5504 do not require the specific mounting angle/orientation that is essential for proper operation of proportional units like the Prodigy P2 # 90885.
Brake controllers use 4 wires for hookup. All use standardized color coding, as follows: Black wire takes in 12V operating power from the battery, usually through an auto-resetting circuit breaker like # PK54230; Red wire takes in the brake light signal that triggers the controller's output; Blue wire carries the controller's brake output signal for the trailer brakes; White wire is ground. You can refer to the linked articles for more on wiring a trailer brake controller.
A Gold Wing web forum would be a god place to find out what other owners have used on their bikes.
