I have the perfect options that will allow you to cool the transmission fluid temperatures in your 2011 Chevrolet 1500 4.8L V8 4L80E. You can choose from either a fixed mount cooler or a remote mount cooler. Both of which will cool the transmission fluid temperatures running through your vehicle.
The best option would be to use a remote mounted transmission cooler like the Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Cooler Assembly w/ Fan part # D13750 as this transmission cooler will provide you with the maximum level of efficiency even at low speeds and idle.
Another good option would entail the use of a fixed mounted transmission cooler like the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13503 with the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM part # D13035.
I recommend the fixed transmission cooler as it will provide you with an aesthetically pleasing look in addition to working well to reduce your vehicle's transmission fluid temperatures.
