Question:
I have a 1 and 16th wheel bearings that I changed out on an axle but the grease seal is too small inner diameter for that portion of axle. Which grease seal do I need?

There are two ways to determine the correct grease seal for you. The first one would be to look at the bearing numbers on both the inner and outer bearings, which will be stamped onto the sides of the bearings themselves. If the numbers are somehow unobtainable, you would need to use a digital caliper such as # PTW80157 and measure the spindle to three decimal places where the seal and bearings ride. Knowing this would allow us to figure out the right grease seal for you.
