Can Timbren Axle Less System # TASR35HDS06 be Used with Standard Pressure Trailer Tires
Updated 08/03/2017 | Published 08/02/2017 >
Question:
I was looking to purchase a Timbren heavy-duty axle-less trailer suspension - 2Lift Spindle - Off-Road Tires - 3,500 lbs- to replace the suspension on my vintage 1964 Shasta Airflyte trailer. The suspension looks great. It would give me some lift and increase my ability to take the Shasta down some gravel roads here in Idaho. However, the specs indicate that this suspension fits 1 and 2 axle trailers that use low-pressure, off-road tires. Could I also use regular high pressure tires with this suspension? Or are there issues with this set up that would prevent me from doing so. Please let me know when you get a chance. Thank you!

The Timbren Axle Less system part # TASR35HDS06 that you referenced can work on trailers that use standard style trailer tire pressures. Since this kit was designed for the off-road enthusiast it is capable of being used with the low pressure off-road tires but realistically it will work just fine with your tires as well.
