Rooftop cargo boxes are not really vehicle specific, but crossbar specific. For example, both the Thule Force XT # TH6358B and Yakima SkyBox # Y07337 will fit on crossbars that are a maximum of 3-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall.
When it comes to fit, you may also be thinking about whether or not you can open the rear tailgate on your 2017 Honda Pilot. To determine this, you only need to take a quick measurement. If you have adjustable crossbars, move the front crossbar as far forward as you can. Then measure from the center of that crossbar to the seam of the rear hatch. To be able to open your hatch without interference from the Thule Force XT would require that measurement to be 51-1/8" and the SkyBox would need 57".
Also, if you don't already have one, I highly recommend using a step such as the Powerbuilt Adjustable Tire Step # ALL647596. It will make things much easier for you when loading and unloading cargo or the cargo box itself.
I have added links to review videos of each cargo box for you to take a look at.
