Why Dont Roof Vent Covers Allow Roof Vent Covers to Open Fully

I need to no what kind of roof vent covers i need for my motor home it has power vent lids i was going to put max air 2 but when the cover on the vent opened it could not open all the way can you please tell me what kind of covers i need thanks

The roof vent covers aren't designed to allow the roof vent to open all the way. Reason being it allows the cover to not be quite as tall and because with the cover only partially open it can still flow as much air as if it was fully open. Sounds like the cover you already tried would be the correct one.
