1,000 Watt Inverter Recommendation for Vehicle

Question:

I would like to install power inverter in my 2007 F150 FX4 Supercab. Something around 1000 W would be sufficient. Can you recommend a model, the appropriate cables and fuses, and perhaps if anyone has submitted some installation ideas? I have some dash space where I could mount the outlets separate from the unit, but I dont have to go that route if is creates a dangerous situation. Just want functional and if possible aesthetically pleasing. Thanks.

We have a 1,000 watt inverter part number # WC3720 which could potentially work well for you, but it's not really designed for mounting in a vehicle dash. You may have to come up with an extension cord plus an outlet to accomplish that.
