my vehicle is a GMC 3500 Crew Cab not a double cab will the aa204046 fit ?

We do have nerf bars for your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 Crew Cab but # AA204046 is only for the double cab.
Instead you need # AA204045 which are for the Crew Cab. I've linked a video of them being installed on a Chevy 2500 which will be the same process.
They also come in stainless steel, # AA204045-2.
