Is the key number the same number that is stamped on the lock itself

I went out to the warehouse and looked at some of our Master Lock Laminated Steel Padlocks # ML1KA which look like the one in your picture. None of them had a lock number stamped on them like the one in your picture does. If you are needing a key for a Padlock # ML1KA you will need go to with part # MLK1.
When ordering a replacement key with part # MLK1 you will want to type the number on your key into the "Key Number" section. You will want to type in the number that is found on the key, not the lock. In your case the number 8204 is the same so that is what you will want to type in.
