Question:

which model transmisson cooler should i order? i have a 07 Escalade with a 6.2 liter v8 with 6L80 transmission.. just wondering the biggest model cooler i can fit. i tow a trailer up to Lake Tahoe often and the transmission is getting up to 230* on hot days.

The great news is that we do have transmission coolers to help you out. You will have to do some measuring in your engine though to see what will fit. Transmission coolers are universal fit so there is no "exact" fit for your 2007 Cadillac Escalade with a 6.2L V8 Engine.

There is a little more into selecting the best transmission cooler than what the size of it is. I am attaching a helpful article that goes over the different kinds of coolers and what their advantages are.

One of the most popular transmission coolers that we sell is the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13504. This is the cooler that I recommend for your application. This cooler is rated as a Class IV which just means that it is a little more heavy duty than other options. As long as you have enough room in your engine this is a great option for you. For this option you will need the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting # D13035 and the Derale Radiator Adapter Fittings # D13018 as well.
