Question:
I have a 2003 Acura TL. It currently has a hitch receiver on it. I am trying to use a hitch mount bike rack, but I am unable to put the rack into its upright position because it is too close to the car. I was wondering if you could tell me what the distance of from the draw bar pin to the rear of a 2003 Acura TL was for either of the two hitch receivers that you have for that vehicle: Item # 24791 and Item # C11290.

I was unable to locate the exact hitch pin hole to outer bumper measurement for the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch # 24791 and Curt C11290 when installed on your 2003 Acura TL. However, I did got out to our warehouse to take a look at both hitches and provide you with a measurement that will help in deciding if either one will provide a better bumper clearance dimension for your hitch-mounted bike rack.
For both trailer hitches, I measured from the center of the mounting hole where they will attach to the tow hook on your Acura to the center of the hitch pin hole.
The Draw-Tite # 24791 has a slightly larger measurement of 2-3/8 inches when compared to the 1-7/8 inch measurement on the Curt model, indicating that it will protrude a bit more toward the rear bumper. You can take a look at the tow hook underneath your vehicle and measure out 2-3/8 inches toward the rear of the vehicle to see where the hitch pin hole on this hitch will sit.
Also keep in mind that the Draw-Tite hitch does not require drilling any new holes like the Curt product does, making for an easier and less intrusive installation process.
