I just purchased a 2017 Kia Sedona that did not come with a rook rack. Is it at all advisable to consider installing one after the fact?

You can absolutely install an aftermarket roof rack on your 2017 Kia Sedona. In fact, an aftermarket roof rack is typically stronger and more durable than factory installed systems.

As long as your vehicle's roof has flush mounted rails that run front to back, I recommend looking at the Rhino Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack.
