Question:
I was wonder what the best hitch would be to use with this trailer. The specs claim that it is 26.9 feet long but from ball mount to bumper it is really 29.9. The dealer sold me a WDH and friction sway control but it didnt really feel right. Still had some sway to it. TV is a 2007 Nissan Armada LE with Big Tow package. Not sure if I have more trailer than I should length wise and will always have a some sway or if the single friction sway just isnt enough.

Weight distribution systems should be used any time the trailer weighs more than 50 percent of the vehicle's weight. It is also recommended on trailers exceeding 26 feet that you have sway control on both sides or use dual cam sway control.
I did some research and found that the dry weight of your Forest River Wildwood 26BH Trailer is approximately 4050 lbs when not loaded. When choosing a weight distribution system, the tongue weight of your trailer will determine the proper weight distribution system. Tongue weight is usually about 10-15 percent of Gross Trailer Weight loaded and ready to tow. So I used a conservative estimate of 4500 lbs for the loaded weight and multiplied by 10 to 15 percent to get a estimated tongue weight range of 450 lbs to 675 lbs.
If that is the weight on your trailer I would recommend to use the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System w Sway Control, part # RP66083, on your 2007 Nissan Armada LE. This weight distribution system is designed for a trailer with a tongue weight range of 400 to 800 lbs. It also has a gross towing weight capacity of 8000 lbs. It comes with the dual cam sway control that will stop the sway of your trailer before it starts.
In addition to part # RP66083, you will need a hitch ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank if you do not already have one. Depending on your coupler size you will need either a 2 inch or 2-5/16 hitch ball. For a 2 inch ball I would recommend Curt 2 Inch Hitch Ball, part # A-90. For a 2-5/16 inch ball, I would recommend Tow Ready 2-5/16 Inch Hitch Ball, part # 19286.
I am including a link to the installation instructions on the Reese weight distribution system and a link to a FAQ on weight distribution.
