What is the Most Economical Way to Flat Tow a 1994 Mazda Miata with a Nissan Murano

What parts do I need to economically tow my miata behind my Nissan murano? The murano already has a class 3 hitch and 2inch ball. I need what base plates and what tow bar? Ive called in a few times and never reached a live person. I have magnetic lights in my cart already. Anything else I need?

I recommend going with the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit # 711-4 for your 1994 Mazda Miata because it has removable arms which will give your Miata more of an OEM look when you are not towing it with your Nissan Murano.
A more economical option would be the Roadmaster Classic Base Plate Kit # 711-2, but it does not have removable arms.
You can use the Tow Ready Adjustable Tow Bar, 5,000 lbs # 63180 that you referenced, but you will also need the Adapter # RM-025 and if you choose the base plates with the removable arms you will need part # RM-201 as well. If that is the case then it would be easier to go with the Roadmaster Tracker Tow Bar # RM-020 instead.
Another thing you will need is safety cables. I recommend going with the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643 since the coiled design will help to keep the cables from dragging on the ground.
If you already have magnetic lights then the last thing you will need is a supplemental braking system. Since most states now require the use of one, it is highly encouraged to use as it will also help to reduce wear and tear of both of your vehicles. The most cost-effective option that we have which will work with the current setup that we are talking about is the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. This is a proportional system which means it activates the brakes in your Miata as you press the brake pedal in your Murano.
You will also need to make sure that you do not exceed any towing limits on your Murano or it's trailer hitch receiver. Make sure that you also check the owner's manual of your Miata for any special instructions about flat (or recreational) towing it.
