Specific thule rack for a 2017 mitsubishi outlander sport, none of the videos is mitsu specific. Also would the new square bars fit my older thule bike carriers that used a square bar.

If your 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport roof has flush mounted rails that run front to back, I recommend the Thule Podium Square Bar Roof Rack. This system is confirmed to fit your vehicle and consists of parts # TH712200 for two 47 inch crossbars, # TH710601 for the foot pack and # THKIT4017 for the custom fit kit.
The square crossbars on this system will provide a 165 pound weight capacity. The bars themselves are 1-1/4 inches wide x 7/8 inch in height and will be compatible with your older Thule bike rack. Typically, compatibility issues with older racks are only present when installing them onto the wider, aero style crossbars.
