Yes, the Curt # C11356 that is currently on your 2015 Mazda 6 will fit a 2017 Mazda 6.
I recommend replacing the hardware to install the hitch on the 2017. Use # RHK and enter the hitch information for the exact replacement.
If you're going to be towing a trailer and need the wiring harness use # C56280. It installs by plugging in to a connector behind paneling in the trunk. Then the hot lead will be connected to the positive battery post through the included fuse holder.
