Question:
Would this work to support a 105lb outboard motor in a hitch receiver carrier as long as the bumper was rated for this amount of weight?

If you have a bumper that is 4 inch square that is continuously welded without an open end that is rated for the weight of your motor the part # E-100 will work for you. This hitch has a 105 lb weight capacity.
Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack. I attached a review video for you to check for the strap as well.
