Can BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover be Secured when Only Partially Rolled Up
Updated 05/03/2017 | Published 05/02/2017 >
Question:
Hi, I am considering to buy this cover for my Honda Ridgeline 2017 truck. Can this cover stay in partially open position and still secured - lets say a foot or two from the tailgate when moving 6 or 8 foot ladder that sticks out of the bed with tailgate closed and the rest of the bed still covered , or it must to stay secured either in fully open or closed position? Thank you

The BAK Revolver X2 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK39602 referenced in your question will need to be fully open, up to the truck's cab, or fully closed down at the tailgate in order for it to be secured by the built-in straps and buckles. It can certainly be opened in incremental spaces when loading or unloading cargo, but during driving conditions, it should be secured either fully opened or closed. I did speak with my contact at BAK just to confirm this.
This is a great tonneau cover that is confirmed to fit your 2017 Honda Ridgeline. The unique combination of the hard cover strength and roll-up design provides a heavy-duty cover with the convenience of a lighter-rated model. All of the necessary installation hardware is included and it does come with a 3-year warranty.
I have attached the installation details for you to check out.
