Will Performance Tools 2.5-Watt Solar Battery Charger PTW2997 Still Charge on Cloudy/Rainy Days

Is this maintainer weatherproof?

The Performance Tools 2.5-Watt Solar Battery Charger # PTW2997 does not have a fully weatherproof housing. But since this item is going to be installed on the inside surface of your vehicle windshield and used primarily on sunny days you do not have to worry about that too much.
The charger will still generate power to top off a battery on a rainy day but naturally it will not generate as much power as it will in full sun conditions. I confirmed with my contact at Performance Tools.
