Will Single-Bottle Propane Gas Rack Allow Cylinder To Slide Into Band With Minimum Side Spacing
Updated 04/28/2017 | Published 04/27/2017 >
Question:
Single-Bottle Liquid Propane Gas Rack Item # 2020-JR Are you able to load a bottle into this purely horizontally? I.E. Will the semicircle part open enough to load a bottle thru it? If so, I will need to mount 2 of these next to each other with about 3 inches max between tanks. Is the strap flexible enough for this, or will the other tank 3 inches away interfer? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Single-Bottle Liquid Propane Gas Rack # 2020-JR will allow you the space to function as well as the flexibility in the band for your application. The band will allow you to slide the tank into place and then clamp the band tight. I don't recommend storing your propane horizontally as the relief valve will be in contact with the propane liquid instead of vapor posing a much greater danger.
