Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2010 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab 4 Wheel Drive

Question:
I have a 2010 Dakota QuadCab TRX 4wd with 4.7L engine pulling a 2900 lb. trailer with 500 lb. tongue weight. I pulled the trailer 700 miles and it trails perfect, even at high speeds with trucks passing. My concern is the at the rear of my truck which Id like to rectify using Helper Springs. With my trailer stats... which Helper Springs would be the best and still give me a decent ride, the SSA2MTKT or SSA7MTKT. Thanks

Considering the weight of your trailer at 2,900 pounds with a 500 pound tongue weight, you can go with the 2,000 pound capacity SuperSprings Vehicle Suspension, # SSA2MTKT. This suspension enhancement is designed to fit your 2010 Dodge Dakota Crew Cab, 4 wheel drive. I have included a link to the installation details for reference.
The tongue weight of the trailer is the deciding factor. However, tongue weight will also include anything in the truck bed that is behind the rear axle. So if the combined tongue weight of the trailer and the load in the truck bed behind the rear axle is greater than 2,000 pounds, the larger, 3,000 pound system, # SSA7MTKT, would be the way to go.
