The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver, # 24814, has a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds and a gross trailer weight capacity of 2,000 pounds. As long as the combined weight of the trailer and the golf cart is less than that, then you will be able to tow it with your 2009 Toyota Corolla.
The weight of the trailer should be on a sticker or plate on the frame and the weight of the cart should be in the owners manual or obtainable from the manufacturer. The tongue weight of a trailer should be 10 to 15 percent of the gross trailer weight. You can use the FAQ I have linked for methods on determining tongue weight. Or, you can use a scale, # 5780.
I have also included a link to the installation instructions for the hitch and a video review of the scale. To complete your towing set up, the recommended ball mount is # 3593, for use with ball # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you would need T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118459. I have included a link to the installation details for reference.
