What Size Tube Does Replacement End Cap Seal 853-5961 Fit

Question:
What is the exact size of the plug that goes into the tube? Is it 1-1/2x2? Looking for end plugs for non-Thule tubing that is 1.5x2. Thank you!

Replacement End Seal Cap # 853-5961 measures 2 inches by 1-1/2 inches on the cap part but not the part that fits in the tube, see picture.
The part that fits in the tube measures 1.98 inches by 1.42 inches so it is just a tad bit too small for a 2 x 1-1/2 inch opening. While we do not have one that matches exactly you could use this Thule cap by wrapping some electrical tape around the parts that fit in the tube to make the dimensions larger and then tap it into the end of the tube using a mallet.
